A milestone moment for any small business is the very first member of staff, and we’re excited to share the latest news on our journey.
The last few months have been record breaking in a number of different ways, which has resulted in increased requests for bespoke in-house training and workshops. We’ve seen a record number of visitors on site at www.momentumsouthwest.co.ukin conjunction with some new content, improved user experience and higher levels of enquiries. It’s great to know that some of the marketing principles we build into our clients’ strategies, can work for us too.
So we are welcoming a new team member to help us fulfil our clients’ needs. We already have considerable expertise across a number of business critical disciplines – leadership, sales, HR, data analytics, operational excellence and coaching to name a few. But one of the areas we felt would really enhance our clients’ businesses, was Service Excellence.
Buyer behaviour has changed considerably and is still changing. This means that business leaders must stay ahead of what their customers want, need and expect, or they face the risk of customers voting with their feet, and walking away. Service must be excellent, world class in fact. Brands like John Lewis show us that price is not the only factor when making a buying decision. Service levels have never been so critical to get absolutely right.
Not only have we found someone well-versed in Service Excellence with oodles of experience in training, but we’ve found someone who’s ‘got the t-shirt’ through her previous career with a well-respected UK brand name – Marks and Spencer. To say we’re chuffed is an under-statement.
Introducing Emma Court, Our Service Excellence Manager
Emma worked for M&S for over 8 years in a variety of roles, including Baker Street Head Office in London where she advised store managers from all over the UK on how to handle customer complaints. A big part of Emma’s role at M&S was rolling our Customer Service Initiatives and ensuring staff were equipped to give the very best service.
Here’s a few fun facts about Emma;
- As a child, Emma sung in the choir and still likes to entertain her family
- Emma is a mum to twin girls and volunteers as a trainer for TAMBA (Twin and Multiple Birth Association) running parenting courses for expectant parents of multiple babies.
- Emma lived in Sydney, Australia for 3 years and studied at Leadership College whilst there
- Emma has a love for baking cakes
Please join us in welcoming Emma to the Momentum South West team. We’re thrilled to have her skills, experience and significant passion to add strength to our growing team.
Wooohooooo! Bring on the next chapter…..!
