Frequently Asked Questions in light of COVID-19 outbreak

In light of the guidelines around the unfolding situation with Coronavirus, please find some FAQs around our approach to delivering workshops and events.

Do Momentum South West offer training virtually?

Yes we do.  Our trainers can facilitate groups, both large and small, virtually in an engaging and informative online environment.

Can Momentum South West help us to remote manage our teams?

Yes, we regularly chair team meetings on behalf of our clients, using video conferencing software so that staff can be dial in from anywhere in the world.  Our trainers are expert facilitators and using a pre-agreed meeting agenda, we can support the remote management and communication of your team whilst they are not office-based.  We will always provide feedback to you afterwards, or you may wish to attend the meeting yourself.

We can also train your leadership team to be superstar facilitators, so that they can chair the meetings personally.

Will Momentum South West still be running the workshop that I have booked in the new few months, given the affect of COVID-19?

We are following the advice of Public Health England and as this is being adapted on a daily basis, we will communicate with you nearer the time about the exact plans.  We may recommend a virtual workshop, and may suggest breaking full day sessions down into 2 or 3 smaller sessions, allowing for homework and active practise of new skills and techniques.  We may suggest doing a 1:1 online coaching session instead, so that we follow the advice about social distancing.   Either way, our team will communicate with you 7 days before your booking date.

How will Momentum South West communicate with me in the days leading up to my training/coaching/event?

If your booking was made via Eventbrite (eg our Open courses) then we will use Eventbrite to email you, using the email address that you used to book your ticket.  If your booking was made with our office team, then we will email you via the email address you provided, or by phone.

What are the alternatives being offered by Momentum South West to ensure staff can still be trained and coached without large group gatherings?

We are able to offer video call functionality which enables team and 1:1 sessions which are visually stimulating and engaging.  Our trainers and coaches are expert facilitators, so you’re in very safe hands.  If you’d like to ask a few questions about how we can support your team during the uncertainty of COVID-19, then please call 01803 266600 or email enquiries@momentumsouthwest.co.uk

Will Momentum South West refund my Eventbrite ticket price?

Yes we will refund you, exclusive of the fees which Eventbrite will already have deducted.  Until the event has taken place, Eventbrite do not deposit any money into our bank account, and so Eventbrite are responsible for holding monies for the period between booking and event.  We will not deduct an amount for our admin or management.  If you’d like to get a refund, please just get in touch by emailing enquiries@momentumsouthwest.co.uk

Will Momentum South West charge us if we need to cancel our team workshop booking or coaching session?

No, bookings made direct (not via Eventbrite) can be cancelled without charge.  If you have pre-paid for your booking and we have incurred costs, (eg. train travel) then we will discuss this with you.
